Pashto language - Alphabet and pronunciation

Pashto (پشتو), sometimes spelled Pushto, Pukhto (پښتو) or Pakhto (پختو). The language is natively spoken by Pashtuns (پشتونز), an ethnic group of  Pakistan in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa and Afghanistan. Literary Pashto, written in the  Arabic script.

There are forty-five (45) characters in the Arabic script (Pashto alphabet).
